If, like me, you live in the tundra- you’ll find that even going out to get the mail or walk the dogs will affect your skin.
It seems to get worse for me every year as my skin becomes less “teenage” and more “old hag”, making it dryer and dryer.
To combat this, when i know i’m going to be spending any considerable periods of time outside in the winter, i like to coat my face and neck in Weleda’s Cold Cream.
I do have oily/ combination skin but it responds really well to oil cleansers and skin oils so this very rich cream is perfect for me; it hydrates the dry areas but doesn’t make the oilier areas break out.
I was just out in the cold for an hour and my skin was still moist and protected when i got home.
I’d definitely recommend this for avid outdoor enthusiasts in the winter. It will create a shield from the elements.
