For those of you who were interested in my Clear Cube makeup storage but not the price (!!!), here are some great alternatives on amazon. The Container Store also have some really neat storage ideas for makeup.. just use your imagination for items not specifically for cosmetics.

A lot of you have been asking for info on the clear cube so here’s a post i can put in my beauty FAQ with all the info but as usual, if i missed anything, just ask!

First off, the clear cube is expensive, i already know this because i bought one.

So please don’t message me telling me how ridiculously overpriced it is. Even if you can’t afford this one, maybe it will give you some ideas as to making your own version out of other acrylic storage systems available.

It comes in a 4 or 5 drawer option. The 4 drawer has a double height drawer at the bottom which would be great for larger cosmetics.

You can purchase different inlays for the drawers, a grid insert or an x insert. I got a combination of both. They are removable and you can put them in whichever drawers you like.

It doesn’t say you can on the website but i removed the lid from mine by just pushing the long acrylic pin out of the hinge. It didn’t cause any damage and i can easily put it back on but i like that i can keep large products in the top.

I used 2 drawers for foundations/concealers/bronzers/blushes, 1 for lips, 1 for eyes and 1 for palettes.

In the top i have brush cleaner/makeup remover/lashes/tools.

I love it but it’s definitely not priced for everyone. Do some searching online for options suitable for your budget :)
