I love your mani's and pedi. Do you do them yourself? if so can you make a tutorial, because when I paint mines they look so clumpy and if i piled on too much. Help please.

I do my nails except for when i have acrylics.

I usually use shellac which you can find on amazon. As far as making them neat and tidy you really just need a steady hand and practice.

If your nails are looking clumpy your polish might be old or you might be laying it on too thick. Use thinner coats and let them dry a little in between layers.

The Shellac nail polish, is it similar to the brand Gelish? I usually get my nails done with Gelish, but I can't take it off at home with normal nail polish remover and it annoys me.

I’ve never used gelish so i can’t be sure but i’m guessing its similar.

Try shellac next time you get your nails done and see if its comparable, i’d be interested to know too :)

I do it myself and its so easy to work with and cure with the UV light.

New Shellac colors!!

I just ordered this new pack of shellac colors. I’m so glad they are bringing out fun colors now instead of the basic classic colors.

Comes with the colors: Zillionaire - Studio White - Moonlight & Roses - Hotski to Tchotchke - Purple Purple - Asphalt

Hey I have a question. What Shellac color do you think is best for fall? Thanks love!

Personally i think black always looks good, especially with the high shine of the shellac!

If you wanted a color though i’d say one of the deep reds like decadence or fedora would be pretty or a deep purple like rock royalty.

My favorite shellac nude color is cocoa!

I'm really interested in getting a shellac manicure done, but I'm on a poor college-student budget. Is it much pricier than getting a normal manicure? Also, this may be a dumb question, but I'm assuming they also do shellac pedicures as well? I found a couple salons in my area, but for some reason I feel like a goob calling and asking for prices.

Also, I know you mentioned you were going to start the Pravana Biojen regimen. Have you started it yet? If so, have you noticed any benefits? I bought it a while back and used it for a few weeks, got impatient, and stopped. My hair didn't seem to be very soft and I wasn't noticing any growth (although I suppose a few weeks isn't long enough for results).

Anyway, you're really lovely! :)

Hi!

You’ll have to check your local salons for pricing. In my town they vary from $15 to $35 and i’m in a tiny town so it probably won’t be relevant to you. I also do it myself so i’ll have paid off the kit in a few more manicures’ time :)

I just did my toes last night and it worked great. Typically toes last longer anyway so i’m guessing the shellac will last for aaages!

I have used the pravana stuff for a couple weeks now and my hair is feeling pretty healthy but i’ve not noticed much else yet, it’s kind of hard to gauge it. I think you really have to use it religiously (which i have not) to see if its working or not and try the supplements too.

Hope this helps!
